Trial Policy

All used saddles will automatically come with a 5 day trial beginning on the date of delivery. Brand new saddles will NOT automatically come with a trial, and those trials will be on a case by case basis. Contact Forward Saddlery via the Contact page for new saddle trial requests BEFORE check out. Day of delivery counts as the first of the five days. The trial period is your time to inspect the saddle. Please return saddles free of dirt and dust by wiping with a slightly damp rag after trial. If an exception or extension request is made via contacting Forward Saddlery LLC directly, then the owner will approve requests on a case by case basis. If an extension has not been discussed and/or approved, then the saddle is considered sold at the end of the fifth day (midnight on the fifth day). Once the saddle is returned and deemed in original condition, then a refund will be issued less shipping cost. The buyer is responsible for shipping the saddle back to Forward Saddlery LLC at their own cost. Upon return the buyer must notify Forward Saddlery LLC and must provide a tracking number for the shipment. This can be done through the contact form.  

SAVE ON SHIPPING: If you’re local to southern Wisconsin, contact us to pick up your saddle.
